– MODEL FOR SUPPORTING ATTENDANCE AND INTERVENING IN SCHOOL ABSENCES
The education provider should prevent absences of students participating in basic education as well as monitor and address the absences systematically. The education provider should inform students’ guardians or other legal representatives of any unauthorised absences. (PoL Section 26)
The follow-up interval is one term, BUT absences causing concern should be addressed and the student’s situation reviewed as a whole.

How to interpret the model: A lower level is always included in the higher one, the forms of support link with each other.
